Register vs Renew

Players wishing to register with Western Suburbs Hockey Club as their Primary Club (and therefore Ipswich Hockey Association as their Primary Association).

Previously Registered in RevSport (ie registered in 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023) then

• Click on the 'RENEW' button on this page

Never Registered in RevSport (new to hockey or last played 2019 or earlier) then

• Click on the 'REGISTER' button on this page

Changing Clubs

Clearances/Transfers

• If you are changing clubs (coming to or from Wests) please be advised that you MUST obtain a written clearance.
• This applies to junior and seniors and is irrespective of the Town, State or Association you played with last or are going to.
• The clearance (and database transfer) process is initiated by the player (or their parent/guardian for juniors).

If you are changing clubs DO NOT COMPLETE REGISTRATION UNTIL you have completed the below steps;

Joining us?

1. Obtain written clearance from your previous club
2. Forward written clearance to secwests@hotmail.com
3. Wests will complete database transfer via the National Database (RevolutioniseSport)
4. Wests will advise you that the transfer has occurred 
5. You can now complete the HA/HW online registration via the tabs at the bottom of this page.
6. Welcome to the Mighty Magpies!

Leaving us?

1. Please contact the Club Secretary at secwests@hotmail.com to request clearance.

Dual Registered Players

• Primary Ipswich/Wests Players - If Wests and Ipswich are your primary  Club/Association
  • Refer to the above Register vs Renew points.
  • Hockey Australia (HA) and Hockey Qld (HA) fees are paid online by credit card at the time of registration. 
• Secondary Ipswich/Wests Players
  1. Dual Registered/Secondary players MUST register with your Primary Club/Association FIRST, then
  2. Register via the Wests portal below using the 'RENEW' option
  3. Select the relevant 'Dual Registration (Secondary Ipswich)' registration type.
     • As you have already paid the HA/HQ fees through your primary Club there is no charge for this registration. 

Hook in2 Hockey

The Hook in2 Hockey Program gives children the opportunity to learn the basic skills of hockey, develop fundamental motor skills while making friends. The program is an introduction to hockey in age groups Under 5's, Under  7's, and under 9 - 12 yrs. The weekly program takes place during the 2024 hockey season at the Ipswich Hockey grounds on Saturday mornings starting at 8.45 am and finishing at 10 am.  This program is a non-competitive junior hockey program. 

Registration cost is $39.81 payable at the time of registration. Club fees for 2024 TBA. Please not Hook in2 Hockey is a Juniors participation introduction to hockey program (ages 4-12 years)  

For playing members, please note that the amount paid online at the time of registration is your Hockey Queensland Registration fee only (this includes Hockey Australia fees such as insurance). Club fees are paid separately.
